Orchestra of St. Luke’s begins Caramoor’s Summer 2019 season with the opening night concert conducted by Peter Oundjian. The Orchestra will be joined by cellist Alisa Weilerstein, a 2011 MacArthur Fellow, for Dvořák’s Cello Concerto, considered to be one of the greatest cello concertos of all time. The 2019 program also features Stravinsky’s breathtaking The Firebird Suite (1919) and Gary Kulesha’s curtain-raising Torque.
