ST. LUKE’S SUBWAY SERIES

St. Luke's Chamber Ensemble presents 5 free one-hour concerts for 5 players in each of the 5 boroughs in 5 consecutive days.

The series will kick-off with a live performance and webcast at WNYC’s Jerome L. Greene Performance Space on June 3, 2010.

The series will also host a food drive for New York City’s homeless in partnership with City Harvest. Attendees are encouraged to bring non-perishable food donations to each performance.

New York’s Big Gay Ice Cream Truck will sell ice cream outside of each venue following performances in Manhattan, Queens and the Bronx, and will donate 20% of the proceeds from these sales to feed New York’s hungry through City Harvest.
