Free one-hour concerts in each of New York City’s five boroughs. Featuring chamber music by Joseph Bologne, Chevalier de Saint-Georges, considered one of the first, finest, and most significant classical composers of African descent.
• Pre-Concert Workshops: Your Stories and Music: Orchestra of St. Luke’s teaching artists collaborate with kids and parents to write stories about their communities and to experience them coming to life through song. (45 minutes)
• Food Drive: Each venue will have City Harvest collection boxes. Bring non-perishable food to help New York City’s hungry and homeless.
Pre-Concert Workshop starts at 5:00 PM.
